2012 apraxia walk

we were so excited to join the denver area and support casana and walk for childhood apraxia of speech! we had AMAZING support for "team kinley" and raised $1000 for casana and all the research they do for apraxia! it was such an amazing day celebrating kinley and all the other kids fighting hard and BEATING apraxia!

back to school

we are just finishing our 3rd week of school and i am starting to really love it. i always have a kind of "2 year old moment" when school is first starting. i go kicking and screaming....so sad that summer is over and pool days have come to an end. it feels like all year long you wait for summer and then it is done SO QUICK. But after a couple of weeks i am loving the routine of life. my temper tantrum about summer being over ends quite quickly and i am realizing there was no need to be sad...fall is on the way :) i am by nature a routine kinda girl...as much as i love summer...the pool...the late nights...the open days....i love ROUTINE and i love FALL.  the girls are doing great in school and love their teachers. there is a hint of fall in the air today and i am SO HAPPY! i started to sprinkle some fall decorations around the house which always makes me smile :)

belleview park

one of our last summer days together we headed down to belleview park. we used to go there when i was a kid and remembered it being so fun! so we packed up and went :) it brought back so many memories! the girls had so much fun at the petting zoo, riding the train and playing in the creek!

evening in evergreen

a couple weeks ago we had family date night in evergreen we went to beau jo's on the river and then took a walk around evergreen lake. what a fun time to just be together.

an evening in the garden

there is just something about summer...i love the evenings in the yard. i love that mark and i get to sit and catch up while the girls run around and play. i love my little family and just being together. what a blessing....

my amazing hubby built me this garden this summer! i love pinterest and all the ideas it give you. i also love that i have a husband who is happy to indulge my ideas :) we absolutely LOVE this new vertical garden and plan to add many more next year. it is so fun to go out each day and pick some of the fresh ready veggies and now strawberries!
