one of our last summer days together we headed down to belleview park. we used to go there when i was a kid and remembered it being so fun! so we packed up and went :) it brought back so many memories! the girls had so much fun at the petting zoo, riding the train and playing in the creek!

evening in evergreen

a couple weeks ago we had family date night in evergreen we went to beau jo's on the river and then took a walk around evergreen lake. what a fun time to just be together.

an evening in the garden

there is just something about summer...i love the evenings in the yard. i love that mark and i get to sit and catch up while the girls run around and play. i love my little family and just being together. what a blessing....

my amazing hubby built me this garden this summer! i love pinterest and all the ideas it give you. i also love that i have a husband who is happy to indulge my ideas :) we absolutely LOVE this new vertical garden and plan to add many more next year. it is so fun to go out each day and pick some of the fresh ready veggies and now strawberries!

kya loves....

kya's 7th birthday

i cannot believe kya is 7 years old!! where has the time gone?? what a treasure she is to our lives! happy birthday kya payton guikema we love you so much! for her birthday this year she decided against a friend bday party and said she wanted to spend the day with family because that is what matters most! love it! so that is what we did and we had a great time! we were supposed to go to water world all together but the weather was not cooperating so we headed to the apex center in arvada and had such a great day together!
